Ka’Sun is the communications officer aboard the Liberation’s Scythe, under the command of Captain Kal S’Darcis. Ka’Sun is a Mon Calamari, forced into above-water or offworld service by a birth defect that left him with one paralyzed leg, greatly hindering his ability to swim the seas of his homeworld. He has made good use of his desire to remain seated to hide his condition, though. At the time of the Rayzur’s insertion onto Ferri’sol, he was considered one of the top communications experts still in the field for the New Republic.
