Paul Douglas is an executive vice president of MKY Insurance, a large insurance company based in Cranston. He was elected the 2nd Governor of Puerto Pacis in 2058, after a wave of anti-Nationalist sentiment due to the Richard's Rebellion in 2057. His opponent was the incumbent Ashley Carpenter a Nationalist socialite with little experience. Douglas attacked Carpenter on her lack of experience and easily won the election.
