The tattoo's ink is generally imbued with chakra and can be concealed in a bandage wrap. Kintaro often keeps his covered by a bandage wrap on his left arm or tries to conceal it with an illusion. It is noted that Kintaro has used his in conjunction with the flying thunder god technique in a form of teleportation. Strangely enough if Kintaros arm is cut off and when he regenerates it, his tattoo regenerates back along with it.
