South Pole City, locally known as the Medievally Modern Metropolis is the ninth largest city and capital city in the United States of Antarctica, located in a National Capital Region, which is also known as the Polar District, which formed into a single entity in 2005, by the District Act of 2005, ceding land from Eastshield and Trans-Antarctica. The city is located on banks the Hutt River, along with the West River, and on an unnamed hill located in the city's outer districts as well.
