Eirtaé was a female human who was part of Queen Amidala's retinue of handmaidens. Contrarily to all the other handmaidens and to the Queen herself, she had blond hair and blue eyes. When the Trade Federation invaded Naboo, Eirtaé was one of the three handmaidens who accompanied Amidala to Coruscant, the capital of the Galactic Republic. When the Queen returned to her homeworld in hopes of retaking it, the blonde handmaiden joined the struggle. In the aftermath of the Battle of Naboo, Eirtaé was present at the funeral of Qui-Gon Jinn, a Jedi Master who had lost his life during the conflict.
