Catala held the position for twenty-six years until her resignation in 223 NE. She was Kiyosa Natomo's successor and Elise Strang's predecessor. Her resignation and retirement were, supposedly, of free will. The fact is that she was guarded until her death in 250 NE. She had been a strong Amyrlin. When she retired, approximately half the Hall resigned. These events were caused by one rebellion buried in the Tower's secret records.
