Aedus was a high templar who served the Protoss Empire. They held a deep love for Xerxes. With the outbreak of the Great War, the Aedus and Xerxes came together as an archon in order to answer their people's great need, creating the being Aedus/Xerxes. However, the love between the two lasted little longer then their union, and the archon fell into self loathing as their love turned to bitter hatred.
