The Red Queen waged war on a rival Queen Mother in the comic Aliens: Genocide. She later perished when Daniel Grant and a squad of Colonial Marines decided to destroy her hive with a nuclear strike to distract the black Xenos and pursue the now distraught rebel xenomorphs, leading the reds to their extinction. The cancelled Aliens: Crucible was to include a red coloured Queen which may have been a similar, albeit less powerful version of the Red Queen Mother.
