Performer(s) Appeared in Frieda is a character from Charles M. Schulz's newspaper comic strip Peanuts. Introduced in the strip in 1961, she is a young girl who is very proud of her "naturally curly" hair. Unlike most of the other kids, she gets along well with Charlie Brown and Linus van Pelt most of the time. She is also casual friends with Lucy van Pelt, but does not get along well with Schroeder or Snoopy. Frieda appeared frequently in the strip throughout the 1960s, but was eventually dropped as a regular character in 1975, making only cameo appearances since then in the animated specials.
