Yozhi is an evil and psycho Yoshi he is bent on totally conquest of the world. He is also a member of the Agents of Shadow. He indeed almost suceeded as he was crowned the king of Yozzy Island, until Mario and co. overthrew the sadisctic Yoshi. He can't speak the human tongue as his interpretter Hava the Beanstar, accompanies him to battle. She is good, but betrays Yuzhi revealing his weak spot. Afterwards Yozhi is not executed, but thrown in jail. His term as King of Yozzy Island was short lived but he often talks about it to the other prisoners.
