Persona Blast can be viewed as a more flexible and easier to achieve version of the Mega Blast 'boss skill' that requires less deck dedication. In return, it is weaker, and requires the presence of a specific card in your hand, which is the same as the one in your vanguard circle. That in itself tends to make Persona Blast rather luck reliant and restrictive, but this can be mitigated by increasing units in your deck that can draw along with draw triggers, moreover, Covert Demonic Dragon, Mandala Lord and Beast Deity, Azure Dragon have units dedicated to searching their copies, while Fate Healer, Ergodiel can use it's clan mechanic of swapping cards out of the damage zone to retrieve copies lost to damage checks. As an added advantage, these units are often able to feign the Personal Blast
