Raskind was a captain in the Los Angeles Police Department. During Day 2, Captain Raskind was involved in coordinating the police perimeter around CTU Los Angeles after Syed Ali was shot and killed from a nearby rooftop. Agent Parker received a call from Raskind and tried to give the phone to Tony Almeida, who angrily shooed him away while he was talking to Jack Bauer. Tony eventually took the call after telling Jack to go home. ("Day 2: 11:00pm-12:00am")
