Boyne Mountain is a year round resort in Northern Michigan (near Boyne City ) and was developed around the skiing industry of the region by Everett Kircher. Boyne Mountain now includes golf, tubing, cross country trails, Solace Spa, shopping, fine dining, and has an indoor waterpark, Avalanche Bay, and the recently completed Grand Mountain Lodge. Boyne Mountain is owned and operated by Boyne USA, a family owned company that operates many ski resorts, including Big Sky (Montana), and Crystal Mountain (Washington), as well as the closer Boyne Highlands, only a few miles north of Boyne Mountain.
