George Michael(VVHM038) was born in September 2010, into the Van Helsing Mob. His mother was the dominant female Billy and his father was an unknown male, possibly Titan. His litter-mates were Bes 1(VVHF035), Lord Besington(VVHM037) and Besmeaner(VVHF036). All four pups survived to adulthood. In August, 2011 Bes 1, Lord Besington and several other Van Helsing meerkats were absent from the group, but they eventually re-appeared. The next month, George Michael's brother, Lord Besington, went roving for the first time. In late 2012, George Michael's sisters were both evicted multiple times by their mother.
