These vampires are good people, who just happen to require some blood to stay alive and well. They are allies of the Bad Company party. They met when Phil was one of the "exhibits" at Luke and David Higginson's supernatural museum/zoo. They were also friends with Carl, a werewolf who was held in the zoo and died while attempting escape, and Heather, Brandon's girlfriend who met the same fate. Phil Gardner is a groundskeeper. Scott and Janice Hargrove are attorneys at law. Stacy Dixon is a bartender. Brandon Wise is a journalist.
