Burrwen was a hedgehog goodwife and an escaped slave from Fort Marshank. She managed to escape with other slaves when Brome and Keyla guided them through a tunnel towards freedom. Burrwen, Purslane, Geum and Ferndew helped prepare a liberation meal to celebrate the first evening of the recently freed slaves. Burrwen was a very minor character, not much else is known about her.
