The Cursed Company was the callsign of a tactical assault force consisting mainly of necromancers led by Councillor Richelieu and his agents who attacked the hideout of Jahi Gallu, her Eastern Horde allies and the Threshold refugees in in the ruined Sarquil Downs district in Alent during the Battle of Alent. The Company's mission was to slay as many demons and their kidnapped victims as possible, raise the slain as the necromancers' undead minions to boost their numbers, and put an end to Jahi whose defection to the Eastern Horde was deemed too great a risk to Alent's continued security.
