Anti-matter bombs were nuclear bombs powered by anti-matter used by the Galactic Empire. A bomb had an enormous blast radius and could release a deadly dose of radiation, enough to cause a Cherenkov effect. The bomb was vastly destructive, capable of levelling large cities in a single strike and rendering large areas uninhabitable.
