Marvin Ham was born July 12, 1972 in Toledo, Ohio. An All State performer in high school at Roy C. Start (Toledo, Ohio) Ham went on to play at Kentucky State University. A four year starter, Ham, a two time All-American spearheaded a defensive backfield that led the nation in interceptions with thirty three over a ten game season. He holds the season record for interceptions in a game with four, and in a season with eleven. Undrafted, Ham was signed by the Carolina Panthers in 1996. He played for the Carolina Panthers and the Memphis Pharoahs of the Arena Football League over the course of his three year career.
