Indwelling or possession is the habitation or filling of a body with a spirit. Liminants are by nature indwelled bodies, which undergo their indwelling early in their development. Indwelling is usually called possession when a spirit forcefully and non-consensually enters the body of a liminant or possess a non-sapient creature for the purpose of harming a liminant being. The most common form of possession is demon possession.
