Sigma Draconis V was a planet located in the space of the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant, the fifth planet in orbit of the Sigma Draconis star system, at coordinates 2.02N 5.22E in sector 004. It was a world that was noted for its wide expanses and its high surface temperature. This planet was known for its wide variety of avian lifeforms with the most spectacular being the Draconian air dragon. Sigma Draconis was one of the more recent worlds that was colonized by the Vulcan civilization and had several major cities in its southern hemisphere. There were numerous universities and colleges that were devoted to the study of Vulcan and alien biology.
