Professor Eduardo Gyong-Jun Ryu (known in Kyomal as Ryu Gyong-Jun) is a Dankukin Septembrist politician who served as Provisional Head of State after the Dankukin Anarchy at the beginning of the 39th century and became the first Convenor of the Government of the newly-constituted multi-ethnic Union of Dankuk. Born into a middle-class family of Selucian Patriarchal Kyo in Seongtaek, Ryu studied at Gongmangdo University, obtaining his master's on a scholarship at the Imperial University of Miyako in what was then still the United Imperial Crownlands of Hulstria and Gao-Soto. Inspired by this experience, he became part of a rising movement among Dankukin intellectuals seeking a more multi-ethnic settlement as the solution to the period of instability that plagued the country during that time
