When Maya finished her spiritual training, she suddenly gave all of that up... to become a defense attorney. Her training has not gone in vain though, as through the power of her Magatama, she has the power to summon spirits of not only the dead, but of her past self. This power sometimes goes array though and it's unknown what exactly viewers of the spectacle will see.
