The Garen's Longsword was a two handed tainted Thrane nemuranai which was wielded by the undead pirate Garen Hawthorne. It was lost by the Admiral in the Fall of Otosan Uchi in 1159 and recovered by the Mantis. In 1165 Yoritomo Kalilea came to the Shrine of the Moon and gave it to Asako Bairei to study and cleanse it. The broken blade was incomplete, missing its master. It would do all it could to return to Garen.
