Jerry Dinsmore is an agent with the United States Department of Agriculture. In late 1992, he was stationed at the EnviroBreed facility in Mexicali, Baja California to inspect outgoing medfly shipments. On 28 December 1992, Dinsmore was interviewed by LAPD detective Harry Bosch and State Judicial Police investigator Carlos Aguila.
