Crystal Gail Mangum (a.k.a. "Precious", which she used as a professional name) is the exotic dancer who claimed that she had been raped and beaten by Duke University lacrosse players at a party on March 14, 2006. Her accounts of what happened on that night varied wildly from each other, one of the factors leading Attorney General of North Carolina Roy Cooper to find that there was "no credible evidence to support the allegation that the crimes occurred" and to declare the players innocent.
