On the Spot (not to be confused with the short-lived 2011-12 syndicated trivia show or the short-lived 2003-04 retired Pricing Game from The Price is Right of the same name) was an American game show produced locally by and broadcast on KGW-TV in Portland, Oregon as a daily series from 1984-88. Newscaster Larry Blackmar was host, while local disc jockey Michael Bailey announced. The series was based on an original concept created by Douglas K. Vernon, who at the time was a videotape editor for KGW.
