PFurc is a third-party plugin for instant messaging client Pidgin. It allows Furcadia players to do whisper-only chat on from within Pidgin, rather than the main game client. PFurc is a protocol plugin for Pidgin that allows players to send and receive whispers through Furcadia like it was a normal instant messaging service, including offline messages and full support for Unicode characters. By using the Furnarchy plugin PortGrab, it is also able to download portraits and display them as buddy icons.
