The Wishing Fairy is a mythical fairy that supposedly lives within a wishing well that grants the wish of whoever throws a penny into the well and recites the magic words. In the episode "The Secret Of The Village Well", Clumsy believes that there is such a fairy that lives in the well of the Smurf Village and has been seen talking to it about a secret wish that he doesn't want to share with anybody for fear that it wouldn't be granted. However, upon hearing that he would need a penny in order for such a fairy to grant his wish, Clumsy was put off from continuing until his fellow Smurfs showed up with an old penny that Gargamel had dropped which they ended up taking while he was chasing them in the forest. However, the penny did not do Clumsy any good as he dropped it into the village well
