Simplicity 5499; ca. 1964; Misses' Bathing Suit and Skirt or Cape: Bathing suit is lined and fitted with darts in bodice and shorts. Shoulder straps are joined to the upper edge of shaped bodice. Back zipper closing. The suit is trimmed with top-stitching along waistline seam where shorts join bodice. Skirt or cape is gathered to a band at upper edge. Band fastens in front with hooks and eyes. Tie ends, stitched to band, form a self bow at left side.
