When peace was first made across Domhain Byd and the current borders of the kingdoms declared, the Council of Kings was formed. The Council has one representative from each kingdom and trade and treaties are worked out beneath the watch of the officially neutral mages. The Council of Kings was tried to its very limits during the Great War and found wanting. It was dissolved for several years before being reestablished. Currently, it has six representatives, as Devlin I and Albin IV of Jallen both sent one. The Jallenese representatives each do all they can to stifle the other.
