Simplicity 2652; ©1948; Boys' Dungarees and Shorts: The dungrees have a fly opening, shaped pockets in front and a patch pocket in back. Suspenders which are optional join in the back waistband and button to the front. A self or purchased belt may be inserted throught the belt carriers. Top-stitching outlines the pockets and seams. Style 1 has a burchased belt. In Style 2, the lower edge of the shorts turn up to form a cuff. In styles 2 and 3, a self fabric belt is used.
