The Base Set of 1992 Triple Play is made up of 264 cards. The base cards are colorful with excellent photography and some nice concepts. The Little Heroes subset shows pictures of stars when they were children and Awesome Action cards show some perfectly captured moments. Somewhat abnormal from most releases of the early 1990's, the set also includes a card for the newly opened Skydome in Toronto, the Hall of Fame, and the Chicken mascot. There are no notable rookies in the set.
