There are a couple methods of doing this. The easiest way is to use a program called ISO Master. It is found in most distro's repositories. It allows you to extract and remove, as well as add, to / from an ISO image. The slightly more difficult but near universal method is by using a loopback device. Create two folders, one as a mountpoint, and the other as a target to copy the files. 1. * mkdir mountpoint 2. * mkdir copy 3. * mount -o loop nameofimage.iso mountpoint (this command will need root privileges) 4. * cp mountpoint/* copy/
