When the player plays Plants vs. Zombies, he or she can earn achievements if he/she is playing any version of the game, besides the original PC version and the online version, since there are no achievements on those versions of the game. Some achievements cannot be achieved on certain levels of the game. In the Game of the Year, iOS, Android, BlackBerry, PlayBook, Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSiWare versions of Plants vs. Zombies, Chinese Zombies are found at the bottom of the achievements page, although there are very slight variations between each of the different versions. When the player gets an achievement, they will hear a significative sound.
