Actor Randal Herley (Born 1923, died 14th April 2013) appeared on Coronation Street in three roles: * British Legion manager Ernie Sadler in June 1981 * Judge Lancaster - who presided over the court hearing of Ted Sullivan's will in February 1993 * Pensioner Sidney Templeton, a resident of Mayfield Court who had proposed marriage to Maud Grimes before his untimely death in August 1999. Herley is the uncle of actress Kazia Pelka.
