The apartment was abandoned when Han and Leia were forced to evacuate the capital in the face of the Yuuzhan Vong's conquest of Coruscant. Some time later Jacen Solo, who was wandering the Vongformed planet after having escaped from Vong captivity with the help of Vergere, stumbled upon the remains of the apartment. Dejected and wondering what was going on, he eventually began conversing with the Force ghost of his dead sibling, Anakin; shortly thereafter several Yuuzhan Vong warriors, led by Nom Anor, recaptured Jacen there.
