Originally founded as the uniform company Kale Uniforms by Sol Kale in 1951, the six-store uniform division of the company was sold to Warren Buffett in 1994. The real estate division of the company, which is split into the two companies Kale Realty and Kale Rents, is currently operated by broker/owner Nicholas Kale Patterson. The company's offices are currently located in Chicago's South Loop.
