MangaNEXT is a fan convention focused exclusively on Japanese manga. It is organized by Universal Animation, Inc., the organization behind AnimeNEXT which was launched in 2002. MangaNEXT took place on October 6, 2006 at the Crowne Plaza Meadowlands in Secaucus, New Jersey. This was the site of the first AnimeNEXT in 2002. The official tagline of MangaNEXT is "the next evolution of manga convention".
