The flag may also be used on buildings serving UNVCOCN purposes and serves as the positional color for peacekeeping troops operating under the auspices of the UNVCOCN. Peacekeeping naval and air forces operating under the auspices of the UNVCOCN have similar colors, replacing the white background with red and light blue for naval and air forces, respectively, and changing the gold dove to white.
