Twistface Passage was a narrow alley surrounded by tenements along the trade route through the city of Saltoan. Countless deep scars had been gouged into the walls by trader wagons squeezing through the choke-point. Local residents saw the alley as an opportunity for salvage, confiscating the contents of any wagon unable to negotiate the passage. Attempts by merchants to protect their wares could result in violence.
