Sergeant Gannon "Destroyer" Roark, is the heavy weapons specialist of the Rapid Response Tactical Squad and one of the film's supporting characters. Despite his scowling expression and reserved nature, Destroyer is shown to be a good person and having mutual respect from his peers. Not much is known about his personal life, other than being childhood friends with Duke. He is first seen playing baseball with Mac. When the group arrives at the Olduvai Research Facility on Mars, Destroyer is first paired with The Kid. Later, while paired with RRTS leader Sarge, he hears a strange noise coming from the air vent.
