Modern Corellian is the descendant of Olys Corellisi, having enough in common with Galactic Basic to be somewhat intelligible to those who understand it, providing the speaker is slow and careful with pronunciation. Spoken at normal conversational speed, the intelligibility fades, particularly since Corellian is rife with regional dialects and specialized words and terms.
