Marcus Holt was a Starfleet Admiral and the commanding officer of Deep Space 3. In 2370, Holt contacted Jean-Luc Picard after Deep Space 3 lost contact with the USS Hera and Silva La Forge. At the time, Holt was hosting a palio on Deep Space 3, in which a Breen pilot was taking part. (TNG episode: "Interface") Holt still commanded Deep Space 3 in 2375.
