Howard is a monster tuba player seen in a season 26 episode of Sesame Street. He's a member of the Tuba Tune Tooters, a tuba band that Telly will be performing with. However, he realizes he's made plans to attend the Triangle Lovers Luncheon at the same time as the tuba concert. He runs back and forth between the events (with Elmo's help). When Telly leaves the concert to resume the luncheon, Howard is left playing the same note. He's shown to be very out of breath when Telly returns. Eventually, the Triangle Lovers come to the concert so Telly doesn't have to run between them.
