The Fireteam Uplink System is a form of IFF that can be added to a wide range of armours & light to heavy planetary vehicles. The FUS keeps track of not just the location of the system that it is linked with, but also its status if possible, such as the health monitors in a suit of armour or a auto-diagnostic system in a vehicle. This information can be displayed if the host system has a HUD or other augmented reality view system. Finally, to prevent possible hostiles from tapping into the location & status data, the FUS will auto-delete any programing & self-destruct should someone attempt to remove it while the host system is active or if the host system suffers a mortal failure.
