A'as, the Mashite God of Magic and Wisdom, is worshipped in hidden temples by those who seek magical power. A'as is worshipped in Ashan and Mulharek, and has small cults elsewhere. She is also known as the Old Man on the Mountain. A'as usually takes the form of an old man in grey robes. A'as has both male and female priests. They preach his ethos of seeking power and wisdom through the study of magic. A'as allied to Almarkah and Loxis. He is opposed to Abadir, Labartu, Nergal and Ahriman.
