Pincup was a village located in Green-hill country in the Southfarthing of the Shire. According to The Atlas of Middle-earth, it was a few miles south of the Three Farthing Stone to the north of Green-hill and approximately eighteen miles east of Tuckborough in the Westfarthing. It lay on the southern slopes of the Green-hill and only one road led to it; the road up from Longbottom in the far south of the Southfarthing.
