The Bel Canto Valley is a mining site primarily for coal. Aside from minerals there were a lot of Gear corpses buried in the area that left behind precious bones. These bones hold the same value as gems and are sold by the miners. The laborers live in a ravine in houses made from bones as well. Also, a train runs through the mine and the laborers use it to transport minerals and to get home.
