Shoggren were a space-faring civilization that made a failed attempt to invade Centauri Prime during the reign of Emperor Tuscano. For his part in defeating the Shoggren, Tuscano would become known as "Subduer of the Xon and the Shoggren." After the Xon were defeated, Tuscano began a pro-birth policy to rebuild the population of the Centauri.
